Who We Are
Built on quality,
driven by colour.
Audax was founded in 1974 by Arthur Davies, a master painter who believed that professional-grade paint should be accessible to everyone. Starting with a single formulation studio in Windhoek, Arthur spent years perfecting what would become our signature Cashmere emulsion.
By the 1990s, Audax had become the preferred choice of professional painters across Namibia. Our reputation for coverage, durability, and colour accuracy spread organically, driven entirely by word-of-mouth among tradespeople who trusted the quality they could feel in every tin.
Today, Audax is Namibia's fastest-growing paint brand. Our range spans 18 product lines and over 500 tintable colours — but our values haven't changed. Every batch is still mixed to Arthur's original quality standards.
